Acerca del evento
For many queer immigrants, living in the United States can mean constantly carrying memories of home while also trying to survive a political climate that questions our humanity. This conversation creates space to speak honestly about those experiences.
Join us for the closing event of DC Latinx Pride 2026, a thoughtful panel discussion centering the lived experiences of immigrants who have lived in Latin America and now call the United States home.
Together, panelists will reflect on identity, migration, community, belonging, and what it means to navigate life between cultures during a time of growing political hostility toward immigrants and LGBTQ+ people.
Hosted in partnership with the Mexican Cultural Institute and the Jose Gutierrez Archives, this conversation invites attendees to connect through stories that are deeply personal and politically urgent.
