Acerca del evento

We're often told to water ourselves down, hide our desires, or make our pleasure more “acceptable.” This space is about creatively embracing that side of us.

Join us for an evening of playful, sex-positive, and creative writing as we explore erotic poetry through a queer lens. This event is hosted in partnership with Tintas DC, a D.C.-based literary and arts collective dedicated to creating safe, vibrant spaces for queer, Latine, and BIPOC voices to thrive through poetry, storytelling, and performance.

Whether you're a longtime writer or someone who has never written a poem before, this workshop is designed to help you loosen up, connect with your desires, and put your feelings on the page. 🫣

Together, we’ll talk about erotic poetry, queer storytelling, intimacy, fantasy, and how writing can help us reclaim pleasure and self-expression. Participants will leave with a first draft of their very own erotic poem.
