Join us for a special screening of Yo, Drag (2021), a documentary exploring Paraguay’s drag scene and the artists who have created spaces for freedom, expression, and LGBTQ+ community through drag.
Directed by Elu Conteiro, co-produced by Aizar Arar, and featuring drag artists Envidia Metenés (Omar Mareco), Menta Green (Aldo Calabrese), and Maldad Drag (Manu Portillo), the film offers a look into a community where drag represents more than entertainment. For many LGBTQ+ Paraguayans, it is also a space for liberation, visibility, and hope.
Following the screening, Domingø will join us for a live performance and Q&A, giving attendees an opportunity to continue the conversation about drag, queer culture, and life in Paraguay.
