Jotería: Our Untold Stories brings to life a new set of characters, (re)imagined based on the experience of its creators: Gabriel Mata and Adrian Gaston Garcia. Through storytelling and movement, these characters speak truths, reclaim space, and spotlight the power, beauty, and resilience of queer Latine identities.
Following its sold-out debut at the Atlas Performing Arts Center’s 2022 INTERSECTIONS Festival and a celebrated run at the 2022 Minnesota Fringe Festival, Jotería: Our Untold Stories… now arrives at Arena Stage for a one-night-only event.
